Elluminate Live Broadcasts eLearning tool Moodlemoot at New England Conference

Elluminate, Inc., a provider of live eLearning and Web collaboration solutions for the real-time organization, announced today that it will provide a live broadcast of the Moodlemoot New England Conference for remote participants using Elluminate Live!®, the company's flagship eLearning and Web conferencing product.

Elluminate will provide a free worldwide simulcast, during which current and prospective Moodle users will be able to hear keynote addresses and a selection of concurrent sessions from the conference, held June 26-28 at the Governor Dummer Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts.

The Moodlemoot New England Conference was developed in response to increasing interest in Moodle, an open-source Course Management System used by educators and administrators to create online curricula.

Legislation signed promotes eLearning System for Arizona Teachers and Students, Inc.

eSATS, a 501©(3) organization composed of education stakeholders and civic entrepreneurs, has announced that Arizona Senate President Ken Bennett's Arizona Senate Bill 1512, the elearning centered schools bill, has been signed into law by Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.

SB1512 is the key piece of legislation to begin Arizona’s statewide transformation of K-12 education through eLearning.

The new law paves the way for a Digital Curriculum Institute, a statewide cadre of Educational Technologists, an eLearning Teacher Professional Development and Education Institute, a statewide Data Warehouse, full deployment of statewide broadband access, mentor teachers, and tech support on every campus.

eSATs leader say Arizona will, in 10 years, catapult itself into the top five states in the country in K-12 education.

Lizard Protector, ensures your elearning course content (HTML, images and flash files) cannot be distributed to unauthorized users. It controls what authorized users can do with them, for how long and when.

LockLizard Protector has been specifically designed to stop elearning courses from being pirated. It prevents unauthorized users from accessing course content, and controls what authorized users can do with it (copy, share, print for example) and for how long.

eCollege to Power eLearning Programs for National University System and Customers of Spectrum Pacific Learning Company

Pursuant to the contract, eCollege will power eLearning programs for students of the National University System and other Spectrum customers. The two companies expect the first of such programs to be launched on the eCollege System later this week.
