ViewCentral Renews Agreement With Microsoft for Enterprise Conferencing and Training Management

Microsoft Will Also Continue Using ViewCentral Solutions for Managing Proprietary and Third-Party Marketing Events

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - ViewCentral, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise event management solutions, today announced that Microsoft Corp., responding to widespread interest among customers, has extended its agreement to resell ViewCentral solutions for managing in-person as well as live and archived web training events.

Now entering its third year, the agreement holds that Microsoft will continue to offer ViewCentral solutions under the private-labeled name Registration Pro, which has been integrated for use with the Microsoft Office Live Meeting web conferencing service.

In addition to reselling the ViewCentral solutions, ViewCentral announced that Microsoft will continue using ViewCentral solutions to manage web-based marketing and training events targeted to customers and prospects of its Live Meeting service. Microsoft also is utilizing ViewCentral in its Managed Services group to provide enterprise event management services to third-party companies. In both cases, ViewCentral is renewing the arrangement with Microsoft for a third year.

"Registration Pro helps us to accommodate the requirements of the most demanding, highest-volume Microsoft Office Live Meeting customers and it will continue to play a valuable role in the Microsoft Office Live Meeting product line."

ViewCentral solutions extend a company's customer relationship management efforts by automating registration, marketing and communications activities for in-person and web-based events. When used in conjunction with Live Meeting, ViewCentral solutions can significantly improve event attendance and attendee satisfaction. The combined ViewCentral/Microsoft solution is particularly valuable in companies with large-scale marketing and customer-education programs.
