Holiday, FL - The National Instructor’s Resource Center has announced today the launch of a new Internet based training management system. The new system called the Global Training System (“GTS”) is being officially unveiled at the American Safety and Health Institute’s (“ASHI”) Annual Member Conference on February 17, 2005 at the St. Petersburg Hilton.GTS provides training organizations of any type; whether community based not-for-profits, training departments in corporations and hospitals and stand alone health and safety training centers of any type (ASHI, AHA, ARC, NSC, etc.), with a flexible, internet based system to schedule, track, manage and report on all aspects of a training program. Based on a robust and secure ASP model, GTS allows users worldwide, regardless of location and connection speed access to the following benefits:
• No hardware to buy, software to install or data to backup
• Manage all aspects of your training organization from educator information & scheduling and training history to student records and recertification data
• Online calendar management allows training center administrators and instructors to coordinate schedules online 24/7
• Easily locate educators using advanced online mapping tools
• Multiple levels of user access and security ensures confidentiality
• Email notifications keep client, educator, scheduler and administrators informed of all changes to class/request
• Securely delivered online renewal class notifications are sent to students via email
• Online, real-time reporting tools available to clients, educators, schedulers, and administrators
• Management of any type of course offerings – regardless of provider, type or certification
• 24/7 Online Help System
“We initially developed the GTS application as an internal tool and soon discovered that we were not the only ones having trouble coordinating global training efforts. We have been very pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming positive response to GTS by members of the training industry.” Said Dr. Frank Swiger, NIRC’s Chief Operating Officer. “Once we saw how many people shared our pain we decided to expand the systems capabilities so that any training organization located anywhere could take full advantage of GTS’s capabilities.”
