RapidIO and Ethernet in Embedded Designs
Ethernet, the ubiquitous networking technology, is being considered more and more for intra-system design. The RapidIO interconnect is in wide use today for chip-to-chip, board-to-board, and system-level connectivity.
Ethernet offers more extensive scalability to support large networks and is a well-known technology. RapidIO interconnect offers levels of reliability, interoperability and traffic management not found in Ethernet.
This online training and educaction webcast will compare and contrast the use of serial RapidIO interconnect and Gigabit Ethernet in embedded system designs.
This online educational webcast will be useful for those engineers who are planning to use or who are considering using RapidIO technology in their designs. There are no prerequisites for this training webcast.
