Vancouver, BC, Canada - Three years in development, Projux Online Inc.’s new platform for secure online web collaboration has transformed the company’s web-hosted project management application. Previously accessed only through the Projux website, web collaboration and project information can now be securely replicated across organizational boundaries in real time. Projux is the leading provider of fully-hosted project management web collaboration software for small services firms. Projux members have tracked time and expenses, shared project information, and created invoices online at Projux since early 2001. Each member has their own view of all their projects, and each project can be securely shared with Projux members from any organization. Project teams can enter time and expenses in seconds from wherever they happen to be. The simplicity of the application ensures accurate, up-to-date reporting and lets members generate flexible invoices without reentering data.
Previous versions of the Projux have been available only on the web, making it difficult to fully integrate project information with installable enterprise software from third parties. Data security had been a major barrier, as traditional integration technologies could not handle the granular security requirements of projects with participants from different companies. Projux had also been inaccessible when members were offline, which was problematic for some customer groups.
>p?Projux Online’s new technologies ensure that current project data is always available in XML format, even when offline. Constant data replication lets integrated enterprise web collaboration and other applications maintain high performance and security without sacrificing the quality or global accessibility of project information. State of the art cryptology is used to maintain the privacy and integrity of each piece of information, and Projux can cryptographically verify and authorize granular changes to project information without actually being able to read it.
The company’s hosted web collaboration application is now fully implemented on the new replication platform, which has enabled new high performance online reports and features. Future features enabled by the new XML replication technology include an Internet-centric desktop client for Windows and two-way integration with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other common web collaboration and business software. Projux is available on a monthly subscription basis at www.projux.com. |
