Mahwah, N.J. - Communications Research, Inc.'s (OTCBB:CRHI) subsidiary TeleWRITER Corporation announced the release of an upgrade to its collaborative web conferencing software system. This latest version of TeleWRITER's PC-based software features a digital streaming recorder capable of capturing, archiving and editing all audio, video, graphics, annotations and computing web collaboration for up to thirty two participant web meetings.

TeleWRITER-AGS first pioneered a cost-effective system to write on a video screen over twenty three years ago. Over the years TeleWRITER has evolved into a complete graphics and computing web collaboration conferencing system. Since its early days, TeleWRITER's technology has progressively undergone new development to keep pace with customer needs, and maximize its utility with the most current advances in PCs, communications, and peripherals.

The company raised the bar in establishing the industry standard with it's MultiMedia Authoring tool for automating classroom and meeting preparation, but with this release has now added a Digital Streaming Recorder to capture the class or meeting session in AVI or MPEG2 video standard. This new capability includes an editing tool for authoring courseware to a DVD, uploading to a streaming web server or to an archival library server.

Carl Ceragno, President of Communications Research, Inc. and TeleWRITER Corporation, stated: "Our updates have consistently had one major objective, to make the best technology available with ease of use in mind for the widest range of-end users." He added, "This most recent release achieves that goal and is based on our commitment to stay in-touch with customer needs, thanks to our ongoing relationships with a widening range of teleconferencing and web collaboration computing users."

Today's educational and business demands are calling for a higher level of real-time, interactive information availability for distribution and dissemination. The past twenty years have seen advances in technology and the role of personal computers that have redefined the way people work. Teleconferencing, in its many forms, has served its function to enable the sharing of knowledge and expertise among groups in multiple locations.

As conference calling, web conferencing and teleconferencing has demonstrated and proved its power, the demands upon it have grown. Now, teleconferencing users want to be able to not only "interact," that is to talk and see each other; but they also want to be able to "collaborate," or to work together on a topic or vision with shared thoughts and shared software. TeleWRITER's latest releases have embraced this robust requirement, while making it easy enough for the average user to employ.

TeleWRITER AGS(TM), a Windows-based software application, is a web collaboration multimedia tool. It can capture, store, transmit, retrieve and annotate graphics, text or video images in real-time. Users are able to interact and to share other PC software applications during their web collaboration conferences, which may be person to person or one to many based. With the recent TeleWRITER version, web collaboration attendees can switch from an interactive mode to application sharing and web collaboration for sharing most software applications.
