Vendors Take Sides," published in December 2004. The IDC market analysis highlights Interwise's support for a variety of meeting types, including web conferencing, audio conference calling and video conferencing and for it's unlimited-use for a flat fee. IDC is a global market intelligence and advisory firm in the information technology and telecommunications industries.
The leadership quadrant placement on IDC's analysis "is most desirable for vendors that are pursuing maximum revenue and the broadest market reach. It reflects very successful past performance and points to a promising future," according to the IDC study authored by analysts Mark Levitt and Robert Mahowald. "Interwise's product breadth positions it well as one of a few vendors who can replace all of a company's live products (virtual classroom, web conferencing, "Webinars") that are being deployed at the departmental level," stated IDC.
"We're delighted that IDC has recognized our leadership and our market differentiators," said Interwise CEO Frank Zvi. "Our goal is to put the three aspects of our offering - web, video, and voice conferencing - on every desktop, just like email is today. This integrated audio, video and web conferencing combination, our ability to integrate with and communication-enable business applications, and our unique pricing model are making that happen for a rapidly growing number of Interwise customers."
Interwise's ECP Connect software integrates the worlds of Web conferencing, voice conferencing, eLearning and Web seminars in a single, integrated, IP platform. Available as both a hosted service and on-site software, the web conferencing platform integrates with a company's existing VoIP infrastructure to accelerate cost-saving opportunities without requiring expensive upgrades of existing telephone handsets. Interwise's technical strength is complemented by a business model that offers unlimited internal and external conferencing for a single flat rate. |
