Trichys, the developer and marketer of WorkZone web collaboration extranets, announced over 100% growth in customers and a revenue increase of 124% in 2004 compared to fiscal 2003. The developer and marketer of WorkZone extranet and intranet web collaboration solutions, announced results for fiscal 2004. Triple-digit growth in revenues and customers stems from increased share of the growing market for online document sharing and web collaboration. "Our growth in 2004 resulted from an increased penetration of the US web collaboration market, and expansion into international markets," said Rick Mosenkis, company CEO. "The need for web collaboration tools continues to grow as work team members become more geographically dispersed. Most of these new users do not have technical backgrounds, and WorkZone is designed specifically for this growing population of users."
2004 included a number of key milestones for Trichys, including the release of WorkZone 3.0, and expansion into new vertical and geographic markets. Originally targeted to communication firms, WorkZone expanded its customer base to include manufacturing companies and a wide range of service firms, from financial services to healthcare who seek secure online web collaboration solutions.
In addition to its growing roster of U.S. customers, 2004 saw significant adoption for WorkZone internationally, with new customers based in the United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary and Malta. Global users include international advertising agencies, members of the Fortune 500, and a number of well-known consumer brand-name companies.
"We are extremely optimistic about sustaining our growth through 2005," said Mosenkis. "All indications are that we will continue to increase our share of this growing web collaboration market, and we have plans to expand Trichys product offerings in the new year."
