GAZEL is the statewide Arizona eLearning Industry Cluster organization. It includes both providers and consumers of eLearning technologies and services, and we also welcome related businesses, organizations and institutions that support the industry. Their mission is to promote the growth of the Arizona eLearning industry and the adoption of eLearning in business, education, government, and community development. For eLearning companies, GAZEL initiatives will help them develop business opportunities, enhance their business practices, and develop their technologies and services.

For consumers, they will learn more about eLearning and have access to technologies, services, and professional development opportunities.

eLearning is the use of digital media such as the Internet, CDs, Cable TV and streaming media to facilitate education, workplace training, online training, communication and web collaboration. It includes Web-based learning, computer-based learning, virtual classrooms, and online audio, and audio, video and web conferencing. While eLearning has become a major tool for education and workplace training, it is also being used for business development, customer relationship building, product support, investor relations, communication, collaboration, and more.
