The 2nd Middle East E-Learning Forum and Exchange is one of this year’s conferences at Online Educa in Berlin, the international eLearning event that attracts over 1700 participants from more than 66 countries representing all continents, and thus is the world's largest international e-learning conference.

It features the work of more than 367 speakers from 43 countries, addressing all forms of technology enhanced learning and includes a rich mix of themes, topics and a variety of session formats. Delegates are high-level decision makers from education, business and government - the three key areas driving eLearning adoption and innovation.

Online Educa Berlin is the largest gathering of eLearning and distance education professionals in Europe, enabling participants to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts & partnerships, as well as to enhance their knowledge, expertise, and abilities.

The 2nd Middle East E-Learning Forum and Exchange in particular is designed to facilitate an open and honest discussion among practitioners, consultants, academics and government officials on online education developments and promising practices and products for the Middle East Market. This forum is considered to be one of the most important eLearning events focusing on the Middle East during 2005. It is a “must attend” for practitioners, academics and consultants with an interest in eLearning in the Arab World.

Universal Knowledge Solutions CEO, Dr. Milad Sebaaly, is set to present at The 2nd Middle East E-Learning Forum and Exchange set to take place on November 29 and 30, 2005. This year’s forum will focus on "The Future of E-Learning in the Arab World." Renowned keynote speakers will present ideas, projects, and new developments in the area of eLearning in the Arab world.

Dr. Sebaaly’s presentation, “Practical Experiences in Arab Virtual Education”, is scheduled on November 30 at 9:30 and will highlight the successes achieved and obstacles faced in the implementation of Virtual Education in the Arab world today. Case studies include the Syrian Virtual University (Syria), the Electronic Total Quality Management College (UAE), the Gulf University for Science and Technology (Kuwait), eUniversity (Jordan), Jordan University for Science and Technology (Jordan) and others. Dr. Sebaaly explains “Over the last two decades, concerted efforts have been made in the area of distance education in the Arab region; these endeavors have helped in shaping Virtual Education in the Arab world today.”

On December 2nd at 14.30, Dr. Sebaaly will also participate in the panel discussion focusing on the cultural challenges faced by those involved in the introduction of eLearning in the Middle East.
