Cuts Fitness For Men Launching Several Initiatives To Educate Men About Leading Healthier Lifestyles

Cuts Fitness For Men has announced several strategic education initiatives focused on educating and connecting with men about leading healthy lifestyles.

The company will be leveraging its franchising momentum and education expertise to launch a book deal, online university and several strategic alliances over the next few months.

Steven Haase, partner and head of Cuts Fitness corporate strategy, will be leading this strategic effort leveraging over ten years of designing and managing large scale, multi-million dollar distance education systems. Haase was the former co-founder of Princeton Learning Systems, where he also created the world's first industry-specific online distance education solutions that offered best in class course content, testing and reporting.

"We firmly believe that a significant reason that approximately 90% of men are not exercising and leading healthy lifestyles is because they have not been truly educated on the topic", said Cuts Fitness founder and president John Gennaro. "Leveraging Steven's tremendous distance education experience combined with our product momentum thus far, we will be going well beyond the quick headlines that men are obviously ignoring each day-- providing high quality educational products and programs that really resonate and connect with our members."

"Ten years ago, we created an industry-specific distance education solution for the financial services industry as it was faced with a significant problem regarding a lack of industry and consumer education efforts, said Haase. "Today, the same opportunity exists in the world of health and fitness, though on a much larger scale of importance, regarding a lack of consumer understanding about very basic men's health issues.

This leads directly to study results such as the one released from the University of Michigan last year stating that only 3% of Americans follow four basic rules of healthy living: eating well, exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy weight and not smoking.

We intend to move very aggressively on this front and are excited to launch several related initiatives over the near term including a healthy lifestyles book, an online university and several distance education and marketing alliances with companies that share a similar passion."
