Version 2.0, which combines voice and video capabilities, is designed to provide quality voice communications by tightly integrating with Inter-Tel’s Axxess and Inter-Tel 5000 series communications platforms. 
 
Coinciding with the availability of v2.0 of the conferencing tool is the launch of Inter-Tel Web Conferencing and Remote Support 4.5, an updated version of Inter-Tel’s premise-based customer support and collaboration solution. 

This application features a set of tools designed to address the dynamic communications and workflow demands of businesses, which allow them to increase productivity and improve efficiency.
 
Inter-Tel Audio and Web Conferencing v2.0 delivers functionality that enables anyone with a computer, Internet connection, and Web browser to conduct or join a meeting from anywhere they can make a connection. 

Through the Inter-Tel Audio Conferencing portion of the application, users can create and manage audio conferences, meetings, and training sessions. 

The application also includes features like flexible conference scheduling, record and playback capabilities, Microsoft Outlook integration, port management, ad hoc conference calling, and conference reporting, which  enable users to effectively direct and organize conferences with colleagues or clients.
 
With its added functionality — desktop and application sharing, multi-point videoconferencing, polling and quizzing, keyboard chat, file transfer and document management — customers can use Inter-Tel Web Conferencing to extend the reach and impact of their workforce globally, along with reduce travel and training expenses.
 
Likewise, Inter-Tel Web Conferencing and Remote Support v.4.5 now offers features to enhance collaboration:  voice chat capabilities, a desktop installable client to help conference participants improve the speed and quality of their video, the ability to schedule recurring online meetings, and a user interface wizard that enables customized graphics.
