ConferenceManager 6.1, the newest version of Sonexis's audio web conferencing bridge, has added new audio conferencing features designed to provide greater conferencing control and security for small- to medium-sized businesses. The integrated, Web-based host control panel of Sonexis ConferenceManager now includes ActiveTalker, a feature that visually identifies who is speaking, allowing the conference host to easily moderate the discussion or spot disruptions from noisy connections.
Web Conference hosts can also instantly create up to 10 sub-conferences off the main audio call and shuffle participants between the main conference and sub-conferences.
This feature is especially useful when project teams need to split into groups to discuss project details not relevant to the entire audience.
Sonexis ConferenceManager 6.1 further streamlines system administration with the addition of Microsoft Active Directory Integration, which simplifies the creation and maintenance of users and privileges by allowing administrators to manage Sonexis ConferenceManager accounts through Active Directory.
Sonexis ConferenceManager is installed at hundreds of customer sites, representing tens of thousands of web conferencing seats currently in use, enabling enterprises to significantly lower web conferencing costs, better protect sensitive corporate information, and support more effective communication among employees, customers, and partners.
In fact, Sonexis customers have reported reducing their web conferencing costs by more than 80 percent following an enterprise-wide deployment. |
