eCollege to Power eLearning Programs for National University System and Customers of Spectrum Pacific Learning Company
eCollegeŽ, a provider of value-added information services to the post-secondary education industry, today announced that it has entered into a multi-year contract with Spectrum Pacific Learning Company LLC ("Spectrum"), an affiliate of the National University System and a leading provider of eLearning development and delivery services to public and private educational institutions and their students worldwide.
Pursuant to the contract, eCollege will power eLearning programs for students of the National University System and other Spectrum customers. The two companies expect the first of such programs to be launched on the eCollege System later this week. In addition to using eCollege's solution for delivering eLearning programs, Spectrum plans to leverage the eCollege Content Manager to enable students of the National University System and other customers to centrally manage, standardize and reuse content across programs, courses and sections for a consistent, high-quality user experience.
Spectrum also plans to leverage eCollege's Program Intelligence Manager, which allows educational institutions to identify, capture, analyze and act on key program metrics in order to strengthen their courses and programs.
