WebEventSearch.com Provides Online Search for Webinars, Webcasts and Podcasts

Webinar Success today announced availability of the internet's only search facility dedicated solely to online webcasts.

WebEventSearch.com is a free online search engine listing webinars, webcasts, podcasts, and streaming web content. Users and content providers can access the site at www.webeventsearch.com.

Unlike results returned by automated search engines such as Google™ search, WebEventSearch.com constantly filters and updates its listings to ensure that only current, available events are returned.

Unique search fields give users the ability to find events based on topic category, presenting companies, presenter names, event dates, keywords, and other event-specific details.

"WebEventSearch.com serves a need that traditional search engines cannot fill," said Ken Molay, president of Webinar Success. "Event producers have been frustrated because they cannot quickly and easily publicize their webcasts to a target audience.

Audience members have been unable to narrow down huge lists of keyword matches to find events that satisfy their requirements and are available for registration or immediate access. WebEventSearch.com matches suppliers and consumers of webcast information to their mutual benefit."

Event providers list their webcast in the listings database with details that allow their target audience to easily find the event. Listings include upcoming one-time events offered at a specific day and time, and links to on-demand broadcasts that are available at any time. These may consist of recorded archives of past broadcasts, downloadable podcasts, or continuously streaming content such as internet radio or webcams.

"Our research shows that webinars, podcasts, and audio/video webcasts are one of the most rapidly growing information sources worldwide," stated Larry Genkin, of Larstan Business Reports. "It used to be difficult to find web-delivered audio/video content because it was not available. Now there is so much information being webcast that a facility like WebEventSearch.com is necessary to find just the events that individual business professionals or consumers need."

Access to the event database for searches is completely free and requires no registration or login. Users can subscribe to RSS feeds that keep them automatically notified of new events as they are added, either globally across all categories or narrowed to a specific area of interest. Event producers can add new events to the database at any time through a self-service interface. The site is available for immediate access
